FSI - Forensic Science Initiative

Uses Forensic Science to prepare high school students for STEM college work and careers. Open to rising Seniors who will be taking either NJIT FRSC 201 Introduction to Forensic Science for dual credit or a high school forensics course during their senior year. Students spend 5 weeks on the NJIT campus in the summer participating in hands-on activities in Forensic Biology, Forensic Chemistry, Crime Scene Investigation (in our custom-built labs), Forensic Law, and field research conducted at various sites in the Greater Metropolitan Area.

Summer 2025 Dates: July 7th – August 7th, Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Registration fee: $60*

Tuition: $1490*
